2020 Pre-travel Program

Attention parents of 2012 and 2013 players.

2020 Pre-travel program invites are in the process of going out to parents based on the feedback from the the intramural program, the directors of coaching, and travel staff. Invite emails were or will be sent directly to parents from the Travel Coordinator’s, Josh Peters, email address (travel@warringtonsoccerpa.org). Limited registration for those invited will close Friday, December 13th and then open registration based on availability will begin on Sunday, December 15th.

Players were evaluated throughout the fall intramural season for 3 elements we are looking for in this bridge program:  1) ability, 2) focus, and 3) effort. We are looking for players who are thinking or planning to tryout in the spring for the 2012 Academy Travel teams for the 2020-21 season to train this winter and spring. This program may be combined with a winter intramural program, but would replace spring intramural participation.

We hope you will consider this program as a competitive bridge to the Academy Travel (u9 and  u10) program that will prepare players for travel play on a 7v7 field. We recognize there are many options for soccer in the area but our hope is that Warrington Soccer can be a place where your children can start, learn and grow, and find the right balance of competition throughout their time playing youth soccer. It is equally important to understand that growth of players is not linear. Warrington Soccer offers many options in both Intramural and Travel, and that ultimately we want to create an environment where a player’s long-term growth is front and center.
